Showcasing advanced magnetic test solutions at SEMICON China 2026
Grenoble, France – March 24, 2026
Hprobe, a Mycronic company, a leader in magnetic test equipment (ATE) for the semiconductor industry with the mission to speed up magnetic testing, is expanding its presence in China through its collaboration with Quantum Design China and its participation in SEMICON China 2026. The company is further strengthening its engagement with local industry leaders, foundries, and research institutes, supporting the high-volume manufacturing of MRAM and magnetic sensors in the region.
As MRAM moves toward large-scale industrial adoption and magnetic sensors continue to expand across applications such as automotive, industrial systems, AI, and edge computing, the need for accurate, reliable, and production-ready magnetic testing solutions is becoming critical. Hprobe addresses these challenges with advanced equipment enabling precise characterization, validation, and scalable testing of magnetic devices while dramatically accelerating throughput, reducing testing times by a factor of 10 to 100. Its solutions are designed to meet the stringent requirements of both R&D and high-volume manufacturing environments.
China is a strategic market for Hprobe, supported by a fast-growing semiconductor ecosystem spanning foundries, IDMs, and research institutes. The country plays a key role in accelerating the development and production of MRAM and magnetic sensor technologies, creating strong demand for advanced testing solutions. Hprobe has already deployed multiple ATE systems in the region, supporting both development and high-volume manufacturing activities.
“China is a major driver in the advancement of MRAM and magnetic sensor technologies,” said Gilles Lambinet, CCO of Hprobe. “Strengthening our presence in China, where we have already deployed our largest installed base, allows us to better support local customers as they move from development to high-volume production.”
Industry professionals attending SEMICON China are encouraged to meet the Hprobe team on-site to discuss their testing challenges and explore collaboration opportunities. The team will also be available to discuss about the newly formed SNIA MRAM Alliance SIG, a global initiative supporting the standardization and adoption of MRAM technologies. “The launch of the MRAM Alliance underscores the growing momentum behind MRAM adoption, particularly in high-performance applications,” added Gilles Lambinet.
Note to editors: Hprobe will be present at SEMICON China 2026 at the booth of Quantum Design China, Hall T1, Booth T1433.
