At the end of the 2025 IEEE IEDM Samsung and other companies sponsored the 17th annual MRAM Forum. The Forum featured speakers on MRAM commercial technology and related developments from TSMC, GlobalFoundries, Samsung, Everspin, NXP, Renasas, Sony, Numen, LAM Research, HProbe, Raytheon, IBM and Tohoku University. There was also a panel discussion at the end that included two companies with chips using MRAM, Applied Brain Research and Alif Semiconductor. Let’s look at a few tidbits from the Forum. There was also a meeting of a nascent MRAM consortium the night before the MRAM Forum.
